I’m very ignorant about Glocks, though I have a few. I don’t know why, I don’t shoot them.

I got this one 10 + years ago. I’m at least sure that it is not a 1st Generation.

Can you tell by theses pics?

If I’ll get you the information needed.

Thanks!

Early Gen 3, most gen 3 will be a two pin. I have a 17 that is a one pin gen 3 also.

Agreed Gen3, and in my experience that's the good one. Go shoot it!

Actually sac the terminology is two pin/three pin. Never been a Glock with only one pin. Count 'em.

I wouldn't correct you except that having the correct terms can really help when using a computer as they are so literal & stupid.

I think only the Model 17 & 19 were 1st GEN.
The first run of the Models 22 & 23 and 20 & 21 were 2nd Gen.

They're still making them.

I have seen gen. 2 frames with three pins, didn't know they made any gen. 3's with two pins. Supposedly, they also made some gen. 3's without the rail on the dust cover also.

Yup. At the beginning of the transition to new change there were some mongrels.

Huh! Ive never seen a finger groove (typical of Gen 3) but with only two pins. Pretty neat!

I have a gen. 3 Glock 22 and gen. 4 19 and 26. I really like the removable backstrap of the gen. 4 guns as it makes the grip a little smaller when removed. The gen. 3 trigger pull is a little lighter but mushier than the 4's. I am looking forward to seeing how the gen. 5 turns out. No finger bumps, more cast friendly barrel, better trigger pull, sounds great to me!
