Guys could anyone one here expound upon the best metering of these two? I am using a Lee Classic Turret

Universal by far. Unique isn’t as bad something like 800-X. But it can be finicky. I’m guessing you’re using the Pro Auto-Disk? If so Universal will drop consistently.

I agree.

Do not question above, but I prefer Unique. Have used for it for many years for many loads. If drop is not precise, does not seem to effect performance ... As least to my standards. So versatile and forgiving for so many applications.

Unique was wonderful for me. Can't chime in on universal because I've never used it

Universal. Meters better in my Dillon 650. Also in the Lee Auto Disc and Auto Drum. Seems to shoot cleaner as well. Have shot a lot of Unique over the years but since trying Universal I'll never go back. And the load data is basically the same

Unique meters great for me.
Universal takes dozens of cycle before it stops creeping up in weight.
I found with universal if you tap the powder hopper with your knuckles a couple dozen times then start throwing charges it’s very consistent.
If not it would keep creeping up in weight for a while.
That was with a Dillon 550 and a Dillon powder measure.

I use a lot of Unique and get very consistent weights using an RCBS Lil Dandy powder measure.
Most of my Unique loads are in the 7.5 to 10.0 grain range depending on caliber.

Unique>Universal
Both are good
A lot more data available for Unique
But you can work up Universal
They are both worthy
No need to extol one over the other

thanks, I got a pound of Unique, might try Universal next time. This Unique is much cleaner than the IMR 4227 I have used for heavier loads. Think I might give 2400 a try for heavy loads next time also. These powders seem to be more forgiving. (per the internet!)

2400 is most excellent

Universal is also the cleanest burning powder I have used. I load a Lee 255 RNFP in .45 Colt with a moderate load in ne Starline brass and the fired brass looks new. GF
