I’ll be loading for a new 460V that I got a couple days ago. I like to crimp in a separate step so do any of you know if I can use my Redding 45/454 Profile Crimp Die for the 460 case?

Another question, Will I be able to full length resize with a Lyman carbide 45/454 die or will I need to buy a 460 sizer die?

Sam, I can't speak for the Lyman dies, but I had to remove a bit of material with the lathe to use my Lee carbide sizer for the 460. The brass woundn't go in far enough. The only way to know for sure if your Lyman will work is to try it, slowly and carefully.
I would think you could use your crimp die, since it is a separate step. The main concern is if it will screw down into your press far enough--that 460 brass is quite long.

I may buy a set of Lee dies or just a Lee Sizer die for my full length sizing. For now I may just neck size.

Thanks for the replys guys.
