WTB: Barrel for Spanish LaCorona 8mm Mauser

I have Spanish LaCorona 8mm Mauser rifle that could use a better barrel. I was thinking that someone may have a decent original takeoff barrel that was surplus to their needs.

Does this barrel have same threads as 98 Mauser?

Good question. I have not removed the original barrel. I assume so but maybe someone more knowledgeable can jump in with an answer.

I just put a barrel on one and it was the large ring threads. The 1916, is small ring threads, I have been told.

I had a La Coruña barrel removed from the receiver many years ago. The smith almost cussed me because he said it was the hardest barrel he'd ever had to remove (didn't change the pre-agreed price though). Tip I was given was to soak the receiver in Gunk carb cleaner or transmission fluid for a day or two to try and let some seep into the threads. Good luck with the project.
