I assume you have pictures on your computer that you want to share. They need to be relatively small or the site will not let you post them.
When you start to make a post, at the top of the posting area, just above the text, there is a row of buttons. One of them says "insert image" when you hover the mouse over it. Click that one and use the browse button in the box that come up to locate the picture you wish to share on your computer. Once the picture is selected, click upload file(s) to send the image to the site.
That is all it takes.

Maybe.... like tazman said, image size is important. One trick I use with my phone is to email them to myself. It gives me the option to select an image size.

I don't know the answer to that. I have never posted a picture from my phone.

Image size is limited to 2mb. Any larger and it fails to load.

Not the same from a phone using Tapatalk. I just uploaded a 5.2mb original to the testing area.

Pick it from your gallery by adding a checkmark. Then click on the pic and hit send in the upper RH corner.

This would be a good time to mention the danger of mixing lead melting and food cooking cast iron... anecdotally at least the contamination from the former is permanent and irreversible by normal means, so permanently disqualifies it from the latter. And a CI frying pan is such a useful thing for both pursuits.
