I was gifted 100rounds of these bullets. 180 grains.
They are flat nosed but the nose is the size of a primer, maybe smaller.
I want to load some 35 Remington for my friends 336 Marlin.
Do you have experience with these bullets in a tube magazine?
What say you? Safe for a tubular magazine?
Thanks in advance for useful input
I use them in my TC Encore 357max rifle. They are not safe in a tubular magazine. They are basically a pointed bullet with a blunt end. Not blunt enough for a tube magazine though.

They were MADE with the 35 Rem in mind.
Speer has several loads listed on their web site:

My brother flattened a couple of creek bottom bucks with that bullet loaded to .358 Win velocity- in a .358 Norma Mag. Worked instantly!

exactly and the majority of Rifles in 35 Rem are Marlins with tube magazines, that's my concern, bullet to primer.

Okay, my 35 Rem is a single shot so bullet profile doesn't apply.
Here is a link to a thread on marlinowners that may help

Thanks for the responses, all. I heard from Speer and they said that I am good to go with that bullet in a tube magazine.
Happy hunting,
Mark

Used them in a Winchester 356 and they were accurate. It has a tube feed.
