Requesting prayers for my grandson

My two year old grandson has recently been diagnosed with leukemia and is undergoing treatment at the St Jude facility in Peoria IL.
He has the type that has the best percentage of survivability but the treatments take a toll on both him and the family. They have a good support group on both sides of the family but it is still hard.
The boy's mother(my daughter) isn't getting the rest she really needs due to splitting up her time between the hospital and the rest of the family(husband and another son).
The whole family needs your prayers.
Financially they are in good shape. My son in law has good insurance and St Jude is picking up anything the insurance doesn't cover. They live just a few minutes from the hospital so travel isn't a problem.
It is just the emotional and physical toll that I worry about for them.

Father, Please be with tazman's grandson as he goes through the leukemia treatments. Please guide the physicians and his medical teams that will decide on the proper course to follow. Father, the treatments for this terrible disease is often very hard on such a small body. Please give him comfort and freedom from pain. Father please carry this young man past the finish line and restore him unto his family and friends. AMEN....

Tazman, my nephew was diagnosed with leukemia at age nine. He went through months of treatment, and the doctors told my brother that they should not expect him to ever have children as a result. My nephew is now a grown, married man with three children, and works for the federal government. I am praying for a miracle of healing for your grandson.

The doctors are saying now, that he will get to spend more time at home than was expected since he is doing so well. Instead of weeks in the hospital, he will be an outpatient and only come in a couple or so days a week. This is wonderful news.

Praise the Lord for all his gifts.
My grandson is now in remission. As of now he has no cancer in his body.
He will still complete the treatment program(2 1/2 years) to keep it from coming back, but as of now, he is cancer free.
