Has anyone tried those lime green BBs on sale at Walmart? They look (?) like they would help generate static electricity. GF

The transparent colors dont work for me, but the opaque seem to work about the same. Have black, matte white and od green that all work

You could contact the manufacturer and find out what type of plastic they are made of

The Black BB's actually weigh more.

My wife gave me a gallon of red she picked up at a garage sale for $2 and I have tried them. They work as a cushion, but not as well for boosting the static charge.

If you are going to pay full price I wouldn't buy anything but the black.

I'm also using Crossman Black BB's that I got at Wall Mart with complete success.

Yes, (the green ones) and they work okay. I've found that I need to experiment with the amount of powder, start with a half teaspoon and try, then raise the amount slightly. You don't need a super-thick coating of powder to get good results; adjust as needed and do what works best for you.

I've been using the multi colored pony beads that you can get in the craft section of WalMart seem to work very well for all colors I've used them with that coat well to begin with.

I get the best use of the black air soft BB's when I clear coat.

My Wife bought me a container of "COLT" brand Green BB's. Haven't tried them yet as it's supposed to Rain today/tonight and the humidity is high.
Let ya know when it dries out.

But by then I hope to be casting with my new N.O.E. .45 SWC 5cav mold. So it may take a few more days to PC with the Green BB's. I think I'll try them with Smoke J.D. Green.

I tried the green ones. They were no bueno. I had to coat so many times just to get anything decent. Tried the black ones and they're phenomenal.
