Looking between Miroku 92 and Remlin 1894 in 20" barrel.
Marlin has the faster 1 in 16 twist as apposed to Miroku 1 in 26 twist.
Both look nice and handle nice for me.
Which would be more inherently accurate ?
Would like to use the same boolit's as my revolvers use, which is 200 and 250gr. .452

My Marlin needed .454" bullets for best performance. I ended up shooting those in my Vaquero and Blackhawk also.

Are you sure about the twist rate on the Marlin? If so then I may have to look into one of those.

I have both and you will be pleased with either. The major difference between the two is the ability to mount a telescope easily. And I agree with the previous post, I shoot .454 in my rifles as well.

Thanks for the replies.

Yes, the twist is listed on Marlin site.

I am leaning toward the Miroku, they just look gorgeous and the fit and finish is top notch.
I have looked close at 4 Marlins and the quality is just not quite there.
Hold them sideways or upside down and the action will not function proper, they sometimes lock up.
Not that I will be shooting sideways or upside down, but it should still function proper.
The fit of the wood is not as good as it should be.
And the bores are not that smooth.

Get the miroku if you want fit and finish. Otherwise either will serve you well.
