Oh, another one in the lot just recieved is marked 40043. I am stumped on this one. It is a a roundnose, flatpoint style with two round grease grooves and a plain base. I guess it could be 40 cal. Closest I have found in my books so far (still have a pile to look in) is a no. 40143, which is consistent with lyman changing the way they designate the nominal diameter. the 40143 looks the same and is listed at 172grs. What is it intended for cartridge wise?
I shoot the 40043 in the .40 S & W. Mine weigh 165 grs. My mold has been HP'd by Buckshot.

I've shot mine into wet sand out of a 40 pistol. When it comes to a stop, it is .760 " diameter.

holy crap that is nice! Well, I do not own a 40 S&W but my brother has two H&K USPs in 40. What I do have is a S&W 610 revolver in 10mm. I will cast some up and give them a try in the 10mm. Damn, now I want one cavity HPed like yours! Had buckshot HP on cavity of a 3118 mould to shoot in 32H&R and LOVE the bullets it throws. Then I went and sold both 32 revolvers :???:
I am going to enjoy this mould!
