Is anyone here familiar with a company called action works out of Arizona?
I have negotiated a deal on a Springfield 1911 worked over by a Don Williams of Action works. It is a pistol for my wife. While it is not quite what I had in mind, it is very close.
I will close the deal in the morning. What I wonder is... If it does not suit her, is it something that has enough value that I can re-coup the cost if we need to re-sell it? The price is in the $700-$800 range.
I do not know enough about custom pistol work, as my focus is primarily rifles. I was considering a Kimber for my wife, as she misses the series 70 commander we had to sell a couple of years ago.
Thanks in advance. Tom
