Has anyone ever tried PP in a pre micro marlin 336 in 35 rem?...is it even feasible to think such things? Both of my 1950's models are dead stock as far as the barrels are concerned and this is all speculation and thinking at this stage.
I have been thinking about getting a .350 sizer die and jumping in..but it is just a thought.
thanks

Not a problem. Give it a try with the 200 gr. Lyman you have. Easiest way is a 0.352" Lee push thru die to size the boolit in pre patching. Cast with the standard alloy we use, patch boolit past where the lands will engrave it, lube the patch with 45% beeswax/55% vaseline mix and load to normal velocities.

Fella I know up in Georgia has had success with 2 such rifles. Don't recall the particulars on #2 but the first is microgroove and it does well with lead and paper.
