I have for sale some .44 caliber boolits that I had cast from straight 80% COWW and 20% SOWW that have been water quenched with a BHN of 24 according to my Lee Harness Tester. . .these are to hard for my purposes. I'm new to casting my own boolits, but my process is to separate then smelt the WW, double flux with saw dust/wax, then pour into ingots, then I will mix my ratio of ingots and smelt/flux again before casting. These boolits are from an Accurate mold and you can look up the model# of the boolits on their website. These are model# 43-270G, 270gr. plain base boolit and 43-300CC, 300gr. gas checked boolit (no GC with boolits). These have not been sized and are dropped at .433 from the mold. I do not want the hassle of re-melt/ratio mixing and thought that maybe a forum member would have use for them.

275 count 43-270G . . .$50.00 including S&H in US 48 - SOLD!

Or...you can simply put your hard boolits in an old toaster oven, turn the temp to 425 deg or thereabouts(not real critical) for about an hour and then turn the oven off and let them slowly cool to air temp. Your boolits will then return to the hardness of the original alloy.
