I am asking if a 375 grain T.C. Maxie Ball will shoot safely in a CVA 50 Cal Hawkin rifle.
If it will shoot safely, what would be the minimum and maximum powder charge to use?
Thank you in advance for your replies.

It will be safe to shoot. I'd start out at around 40 or 50gr and you could easily go up to 80 or more.

I've worked up to 90 gr. in several rifles. Most times though you don't need that much powder.

Safe yes.

Accurate ???? Depends on the twist. But it never hurts to try. Maybe start at 40grs and up it 5grs at a time to see if accuracy improves.

Here's a CVA sidelock manual with load limitations.

It seems to discourage using heavy weight bullets by giving warnings.
