redfield international match sight

i have a redfield intnl. match sight that i sant to mount on a 52 winchester. however i have no apetures for the sight. someone used to manufacture them. but i can't find out who . the threaded hole that accepts the sight is .250. so, the sight thread would be over 1/4 in in size. any help??

How fancy do you want? Gehman makes some very nice appetures, merit makes one that fits this sight. a simple fixed appeture can be turned up on a lathe in a short amount of time. Here you want to know the appeture hole size you want. I believe the redfields were 7/32 thread dia. Te gehmans are adjustable appeture size and may also have diopeter and color adjustments. Merits are adjustable aperture size. You need to know for sure thread dia and pitch
