master caster value

talked to a fella at a cas shoot this past weekend. he has a master caster (no moulds) in as new condition. he wants to sell it. what should it be worth. i think it sells for $900. or $999. new.

i have seen them for sale with 3 molds for $795.00 so with out a mold i would think like at least 500.00 but of course i could be wrong.

not to long ago they sold for 6oo new. they just took a huge price increase a year or two ago. I wouldnt give more then 600 for a used one.
