Mold advice

I shoot a Pedersoli 45/90 with holy black and cast boolits. I currently have three molds, two Lyman and one Paul Jones. All cast 500 gr. + boolits and shoot very well. Would like to try a lighter boolit, say 400gr. or so in 25/1 lead tin.What mold do you suggest??? :coffeecom

I've had really good results with the Lyman 457124 in a couple of .45-70's. It duplicates the old Trapdoor Carbine 400-gr bullet.

PJ #45011 Make it the size you need to fit the gun, no guessing, hoping it will be OK.

I use PJ #45001 540gr and #45011 400gr. I compress the same, just add .030 more wad, for the 45011.
