We made a hi calorie hi protein drink by using 3 scoops of the protein mix a cup of oatmeal and 5 dates blended with milk and its not bad to drink.

Doctors are changing him to real food instead of protein shakes in an effort to gain weight back . Please pray for him and his family . I personally think a lot of Charles , he is a good man . A bit of update: Had the barium swallow test last week and next will be the upper GI with the camera down the stomach date hasent been set yet.

HAve put myself on a full liquid diet as I am unable to eat more than a few bites and am full. 2 scoops of proteen powder in a pint of milk = 400 calories and 54gr proteen taken 3 x a day gives 1200 calories and will put weight on for a few weeks. I am down to 150 from 187 and have to do something to add weight and not go lower. Home health nurse and Dr both feel this is a good move for now.

Prayers are still needed and apreciated.

Another update:

Weight hasent dropped but hasent gone up much in 3 weeks of 1200 cal intake. Decided to change Doctors and have an appointment Tue with a geractic Dr. they deal more with older folks weight loss and may have better answers.

Not much more to add until after the visit Tue the 6th. Please continue keeping Me in Your prayers and for the Drs to have answers.

More prayers my folks are all praying for you every day. I was glad to here you stabilized but thst doctor change may be Lord's will. My daughter did that on eye problems and it has helped.
Nurse told daughter surgeon has problem of doing eye to early and having to do surgery second time. As I said Lord leading you to who he had to heal you and maybe for you to witness to someone there.

Gentleman, I have an update on Charlie; He was bitten by a spider on his back and it seems to have gotten infected. He was just in the ER where they drained it and gave him some antibiotics to help the infection. So keep up the thoughts and prayers for him, he can surely use them.

Thanks so much for keeping Me in Your Prayer. Every time I see daylight it turns out its another train coming through the tunnel. The geratic Dr thinks it time to go with a stomch tube feeding and not look back. With the spider bite and all the pain I am not swollowing like I need to to drink the Hi proteine I have been liveing on.
