wc 844 or wc 846 in the 30-30

which of these 2 powders would be better for a deer load using 150gr jacketed bullet in my 30-30? i also have w 748 and aa2495 so i will throw those in also? any help is apprec

As far as a deer is concerned under 150 yards or so, there would be no difference in any of those powders. ... felix

has anyone worked up a load using wc844 for the 150gr jacketed bullet? where would be a good place to start grain wise? thanks

I'd start about 26gr and work up to about 30gr using 844. The absolute max with a 150gr bullet is about 33gr but I'm betting accuracy falls off before you get there.
