Lord forgive us when we pray about someone instead of for them. Forgive us when we gripe about what we can not do instead of thanking you for all we can do. Forgive us for looking at someone and shaking our heads instead of offering our hand of fellowship. Forgive us cause we do not see a person as a sinner Jesus died for instead of judging them as useless.
LORD your model prayer says we should see things here as those in heaven do and we fail you miserably every day.
As we pray for forgiveness show us everything you saw and let us confess it and get rid of that under your shed blood instead of selecting and choosing things we want to keep and things we want to give up. Help us to be a clean house for you to dwell in and hands clean for your use everyday.
