Been a rough week. My two Sons both lost there FILs. My DILs are hurting Prayers would be of great help. Tomorrow is promised to no one. What I do understand is that God has given us today. With His amazing grace, He has given us this beautiful day today. I have no idea what tomorrow will bring.

So I think this covers it all

Our Father, which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy will be done in earth,
As it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive them that trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
The power, and the glory,
For ever and ever.
Amen.

Prayers sent. Brings to mind something that Charles Dickens wrote that sustains me thru each day:
"The pain of parting is as nothing compared to the joy of meeting again" GW

Amen, DCP. "Rain" does indeed come to all of us, believers and non-believers alike, and sometimes, it comes in storms and multiple events all at once. But God has promised us that He will put NOTHING on us that we can't handle. We may not LIKE handling it, but we CAN, and He is the reason we can do that. And when someone dies, it's traditional to mourn their not being with us here any more, but we'll get to see them all again, at least once. Those who're prepared for that day we'll see forever, and never with any danger of parting ever again. Those who are unprepared we won't get to see but once more, but the eternal justice of that will be so apparent at that time, that it'll be bearable, even if we can't regard that as "acceptable" right now.

"All things work to the good for those who love the Lord." When we lose a loved one, it reminds us rather emphatically that we also have our own time to leave this world, and transition to the next, and this is often what it takes for some to seriously consider belief, and the Truth within it. So indeed, even this CAN work to the good for those who love the Lord.

In every trial and difficulty and failure, are the seeds of something new and better than we've ever known before, if only we will simply realize it, and honestly and earnestly think on it. What a wonderful and awesome world our God has created for us. And then Heaven! Wow! Does He love us all or what?

We can only grieve those whom we have loved. I pray that your whole family has the peace that passes understanding, and that the Holy Spirit will be with all of you as you pass through this loss.
