Over the weekend, I happened across a Winchester M94 30-30 which, according to the S/N was manufactured in 1968. 95%+ bluing (not much wear, at all, but a couple of scratches on the left side of receiver) and pretty decent wood (some scratches and small chips in the varnish but no major gouges or dents). Bore is excellent and, judging from lack of internal wear, gun probably hasn't been shot an awful lot.

Asking price was $310: Fair price? Bargain?

Shake the rifle---if the lever flops around and makes noise, buy a Marlin!
