Aluminum Lee Enfield No.4 buttplate, apparently missing trap door and spring, correct for No.4 Mk1* Cdn. Long Branch or Savage Lend-Lease 1943-44, earlier buttplates in UK production were cast marine bronze

I believe that buttplate is actually Zamak.
