Man, how much i miss the eider hunting! Used to spend all my time and money hunting them down east.Dont they take some hoss-power to knock out of the sky?! Very tuff bird. As big as they are, i cant beleave how fast they fly.

Since I mainly hunt puddlers , I shoot a lot of 1 reload
2 3/4" hull , 1 oz of #3 at 1600 fps

As I understand it , seaducks can be tough
#6 Hevi shot will cleanly kill ducks well past any ethical range , you can think of
But it costs a fair bit more than steelshot [smilie=1:[smilie=1:
