Did a search, couldn't find anyone making 348 brass?, just making lots of other stuff from 348.
I got some "Quality Cartridge" 348 brass, not impressed with it for $2ea!?, I don't care much for Starline brass but their 50-110 is only about a $1.10ea.
I've got several flavors of .45, .375. and .358 dies I could use to do the necking with?, and a tin of ISDW right beside the press.
Case necks would be pretty darn thick, the biggest concern there is finding the correct shell holder for my RCBS case trimmer?, I'll have to look in my "stuff, IIRC? I got the FIL's Forester case trimmer when he passed, it may be of some use too?
Thoughts and opinions?

Generally speaking Winchester brand 348 brass hasn't been that hard to find. Place a "want to buy" add here and check your local gun shows surely someone has some they will sell.

The supply of Winchester 348 brass seems to have dried up over a year ago+ now?, the guys that have it up for sale seem to be asking YObamma era pricing for it??
The gun shows that aren't flea markets are few and far between and over 100 miles one direction.

The same is now true for .405 Winchester and there are some new Miroku-Chester .405s for sale at fairly decent prices. As much as I'd like one I think I'll stick with my mid-80s Miroku '95 in .30-06. GF

If i recall correctly then 50-110 was the parent case for the then new 348 WIN.
Form in steps and anneal (starline brass is usually very hard).

I have appx. 50 new 348 w-w brass I've been reforming into 50 cal brass for a Swiss rolling block..best I remember it's much easier to start with 50-70 or 50 Alaskan.

Those are way to short for forming a 348WIN cartridge as that is what the man wants to make.
Only parent case that works is 50-110.
And i bet your Swiss RB is Swedish ;-)
The Swiss went for 12+1 shot bolt actions (Vetterli) in 1867.

My bad as they say now.i take 348w .fireform in Swedish rolling block then shorten to chamber length to make 12.7 brass.was saying it's easier to start with 50-70 brass than 348w.i don't like reforming brass that others could use as they are.

I was wondering the same thing, wrench man. I’ve probably read all the same articles as well! I managed to find 19 pieces locally, but would like more. I also thought about forming, but am holding out currently hoping I find more!

I received a PM from one of the guys here, and purchased all of his brass as he no longer owns a 348, I have 400 pieces on hand now!, should be a life time supply!
No more scratch'n my chin figur'n out how to squeeze down 50-110.

I've got 80 rounds of .348 Win nos WW unprimed listed on Ammo Brass Trader, would gladly trade for any of my wants listed there or sell to a buyer on this site.

There's a fair amount of 348 brass on Gunbroker. That's a whole lot less trouble than forming it from other brass.

I have made 8mm Lebel from 348 Win. Can 348 be made from Lebel brass? Grafs has the Lebel brass.

I recently found 4 50 round bags of nos winchester 348 brass at the LGS where I bought a Siamese mauser re-barreled to 348 winchester. Needless to say I bought all 4 bags! Found a bullet mould on a S&W forum for 50.00 too.

I just came into a wildcat that appears similar to the 8mm Lebel, but the 275gr bullets are .332" not .323". Any ideas what it might be?

W-W 348 brass with extractor groove cut and rim turned down.

Thanks, Dinny
