I just got a 450 Bushmaster upper for a AR. Thinking I'll run linotype bullets gas checked and Hitech coated.
Wondering if anyone could recommend a mold for that caliber.

You could try the Lee 452-300-RF mold.

I would think that WW alloy combined with a gas check and powder coating would be enough for your purposes. Linotype can get expensive.

True, probably more so if I heat and quench. Never tried that. Been casting straight lino Hitech coated and checked for my Sturmgewehr loads for the last 4 years or so. Overkill I guess but they work well and are cheap compared to buying jacketed. Tried coww not HT but coated and checked. They shot poorly. Went to lino after that.
