Dillon Case Lube

I use a lot of Dillon case lube with lanolin because it is water soluble and would like to make my own to save money. Does anyone have a close recipe ?.

There are a ton of threads and info on the net. The ratios vary slightly, but 99% alcohol plus lanolin
I like 80:20 Alcohol:lanolin
Some/most are 90:10

I use one ounce of liquid lanolin mixed with a 12 ounce bottle of iso-heat. The stuff in the yellow bottle is methanol. You don't want to play with that. Put a few hundred cases in a gallon Ziploc bag. Give two or three squeezes from the spray bottle. Close it up and stir 'em around for a minute or so. Super fast and works a treat.

I also have the 1 once to 12 once recipie. pure lanolin on ebay and a red bottle of Heat

I forgot to say to give the alcohol about 5 minutes to evaporate after you dump em out. If you have to quit in the middle, you can pick up where you left off the next day. It's doesn't get all tacky or anything overnight.
