Please let me say that I do not think I could make this request on any other open forum. Some many good folks here and so many level heads that seem to actually care about the community!
My wife will be going in on Friday morning for a couple of simple procedures to remove a couple of handfuls of lymph nodes. This all started with what her doctors thought was a virus about 3 months ago. Many of her nodes reached almost 4 cm in diameter and stayed that way for a couple of months. Most, but not all have now gone back down. Her white counts have been way high for the last few months and she has no energy or balance. She has been seeing her GP (good man) and an oncologist for a few months tracking progress and now they want to dig in and find out why not all have returned to normal and why she is not feeling well. Both docs really do not think it is cancer, but they are not sure what it is.
She has a very complicated medical history due to an auto accident 11 years ago, that really she should not have survived. She was left with traumatic brain injuries, ortho injuries, internal organ loss and damage and a badly compromised immune system. She was pregnant with our youngest at the time of the accident. The baby survived and was born at 5 pounds even and very early, you would not know it now as she is 98% height and weight and quite the young athlete. We have accepted a new normal into our lives, she can't work, falls often and has short term memory issues and gets every infection she is near. I fear that we are now entering into yet another state of new normal. She has been exposed to medical x-ray radiation at a level one should never see and our fear is this is now coming to cause an issue.
On a good note! We will have been married 31 years this month and we have to wonderful girls that are 11 and 15. Life is not easy, but if it were... I would not know what to do with it. :)
Thanks Matt
These are the 2 that I hope all works out well for!
