I have been looking around for a way to get more into my safe and the ones I have seen for sale the metal cover options but they are way expensive and given my natural desire to get things done myself here is what I came up with ....

Nice job, Hotwheelz! A lot more useable space, and keeps the pistolas from bumping each other. I like it!

Are the dividers plexiglass with some type of rubber edging? Looks nice, I bought one

but I am not really happy with it, I like yours better. I have been planning to do some "remodeling" in my safe also.

YEs its some left over plastic from another project I was worried about the edges so I got some clear tubing sliced it down the middle and slipped it over the edges. I bought one of those from midway awhile back they were on sale I wasnt happy with it either I gave it away took up to much space.

All I gotta say is DAMN you have a bunch of handguns! I'm gonna copy this to my file for future reference though in case I get rich and have a huge collection one day!

nice butts.

COME ON! Somebody was going to say it sooner or later. ;-)

Wonder how many we can guess the model from that angle.

Hmm, some 1911's, a bunch of S&W wheelguns, a birds head SA (what cal?).

Nice, but not enough single actions. Thanks for the good idea, mine are just stacked all on top of each other (very varefully mind you). This will be one of my more urgent projects when I get back from the aussie cowboys championships and a trawl along the coast for a holiday.
Mick.

Wondering if the birds head was from the 32 mag single six? Had several chances to buy one and missed out - story of my life. Nice collection!

My ladyfriend is just about to start cowboy shooting. I got her a pair of 32Mag Single Six Vaqueros with Bird's Head grips. Dumb luck, I had given up on finding a pair of 32s for her and was looking for a pair of used 38s. They guy said, 'nah, we ain't got any 38s, just 32s!' Talk about a quick draw with the plastic!

Thanks for noticeing I have been working on my BUTT'S..

The ruger varquero's are 45lc , I shoot some cowboy stuff a few times a year. Glad you all like it I have been thinking of this idea for a few months and Im really happy with the way it turned out. I was thinking of making another one a little less the half the width that I could move back and forth when I need to get some out of the back there are still a few pony's without a home they maybe getting jelous and Im allways looking to add to the stable...
