Anyone have a Lyman 1000XP scale?
If so I would like to know what you think of it.

I am looking for a digital scale with good repeatibility and accuraccy, I would much appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks,

John

I've got the older version--LE1000--had it since 1999-2000. Never a problem, but I use it mainly for weighing bullets, cases and arrows. I still use an RCBS 10-10 for weighing powder; however, my wife recently got me a Lyman 1200 DPS III and my 10-10 is getting used less and less...

I bought an Aculab scale after a bunch of research and am very happy with it. It is a lab quality scale, more accurate than needed for loading but nice to have the accuracy anyway. Very repeatable.

I just weighed a 180 gr match king on it 10 times;

179.88
179.90
179.90
179.90
179.88
179.90
179.90
179.88
179.88
179.90

That is the typical results i get with it.

Ive been using the pacts for about 10 years. Ive got two of them. I think they run about a 100 bucks. Ive had good luck with them. Ive got the auto dispensor too but dont use it much as most of what i load is pistol powder and it meters well enough out of a powder drop.

I've been using a Pact for, oh, I don't know. I'm tempted to say "for more than 10 years" but don't want Lloyd to think I'm "one up'n him. Bought it from Dillon when the first started carrying it. It came with 2 test wgts, and a padded, zipped carrying case which I sometimes use with the pan inverted over the table. The scale is beyond reproach, furthermore when I thought it was "toes up", from a near by lightening strike, I called Pact and a very nice gent helped me through a "Reboot" procedure. Voila!!! Back in service.
Yes, I wrote down the procedure and have used it on another similar occasion.
Very happy with Company and product.
