1600 casted so far. Need to do a few more melts to hit 9000. Yea I know, but I'm stocking up for a cold Democratic winter. [smilie=1: I have 5 45-70's to feed also. ;)
Well and plus I have 9000 gas checks to fill. ;)
I'm using the NEI 485 Grainer here. Thanks to other that helped and a special thanks to Nyack Kid for sending me 30 or so bullets to try out.
Also run 2200 45 Long Colts in two identical Lee 6 cavity 255 grain moulds

I threw together this stand to raise the pots up so I could see the spouts and to keep them from sliding around on the bench.

Can you not find a better shirt to cast in? We don't want you to look unfashionable.

So far I have a thousand each of the 45-70 and 500 S&W to load. The 500 S&W will be casted next week.
200 to 300 45-70 once fired ones also from RRR and others.

I think his meaning is that you might break the bench from the weight!

yep ! I ran the math , there are 14.43 boolits to the pound , it would make for a funny tale .....

Duke, do you two have any kids? If not would youlike to adopt one. I may be a bit older than you but I can dye my hair and act like a brat!!!

I think the color is perfect. It shows off the splatter when the pots start to drip, and steps to correct the problem can begin immediately!

Hey again Wildman. :-D
No sir I have never had any children. I have though gone through the first phases of producing them on multiple occasions. [smilie=1:
I am not soliciting for a paternal position at the moment. lol

Are you getting ready for the next Alamo? That's a lot of ammo.
Slow down and enjoy it. I only cast enough to last a month or 2. that way I get to do it more often :-D

Just knocked out around 100 from the new mold tonight for the .308.
I will go try them out tomorrow or Sunday.

That's a lot of ammo..
My agenda is the empty my Rack O' Loading components and turn it into loaded, boxed ammo. Ingots do me no good at all and the components are taking up way to much space. I should have the 400 + pounds I just smelted down today turned into projectiles by Wens. Then it's back to smelting more wheel weighs down.

a man can never have to much loaded ammo duke. Seems like i will look once and a while and see how much i have and then turn my back and its all gone!

I very much agree with you Lloyd. With out the ammo the gun is just a wall hanging or a boat anchor.
