Dream...

Had a dream last night, the first since my Dad passed that I can remember him being in.

Were were at a range and he had the coolest handgun. It was a .357 Colt Python, that had what seemed like a 16" Barrel.

I asked if I could shoot it and he said, "yeah.. Pick it up Pat".

It had a matt steel, smooth as glass (typical) colt action but was a black composite barrel of some high tech light weight material. I drove tacks with it, and we had a blast shooting it.

Wouldn't that make a cool new Colt?

They've got some cool firearms in heaven... lol

Awesome dream, Pat. From time-to-time I see my Dad in a dream where I am rowing the boat and my Dad is sitting in the back with his cane pole catching bass in one of my favorite SoCal lakes about 55 years ago. I didn't mind rowing at all.

That's a cool dream. My Dad has been gone for almost 8 years and I have not dreamed about him yet.

Dreams are of course a strange thing when someone passes. My sis and I used to have the same dreams when we were kids. When our grandfather passed, within a few days we had nearly the exact same dream of him. My sis has not had a dream of Dad yet either. I want that 16" BBL Python... lol.

Thats a cool dream. My dad passed 3 years ago . think of him daily.

My dad's been gone 20+ years, just in the last 4-5 years have I dreamed about him, when I do dream of him it is about
us and my brother in the deer woods.

Pat this thread is FANTASTIC! God gives us a little glimpse of heaven by pulling the curtain back just so we can peek in. Like one of the earlier posts, my dad has been gone a long time (since 1996). I think about him and still miss him. I hope to shoot that Big Python with you some day.
