32-20 rifle molds

Hello guy's ,
I have been thinking about trying the rcbs 32-98 swc in my old Marlin mod 94 chambered in 32-20 because of it's age I would like to just use it for light plinking and grandson practice plinking.
My other moulds I have is the original 3118 and an old win 32wcf mould and a accurate 31-115j mould, all of these give close to a 120gn boolit ( give or take depending on alloy), I've always liked light weight bullets cos i.m not a big hunter and if I was this wouldn't be the caliber anyway.
Anyone use this boolit and if so whatcha think ,,,,,, worth getting ?.

You'll probably have to seat it really deep to get it to feed and chamber, otherwise try it and see if it's accurate. No real downside otherwise.

Yer Nobade I was wondering how much lenghth I would loose using this design, I normally set my oal to 1.60" ,,, old gun ,,, old chamber ,,,, lots of old leade,,,, lol.

Accurate 31-105T is based on the shape of factory .32-20 and .32 Colt New Police lead bullets.

That's the only 32 cal. bullet I've used in my 32-20's in 30+ years. I like it.

That might be what I,m after,
I like the double crimp grooves and beveled base, makes for easier seating.

A few years ago a friend asked me to regulate the sights and find a reasonably accurate load for his Winchester '92 in 32-20. After getting the sighs aligned, I tested his rifle with several (about 5) different cast boolits to find which it liked. Without exception the rifle loved any boolit made in my Winchester mold better than any other mold. That one's test loads gave the tightest groups of all those tested, weighing from 110 grains to 120 grains. Of course your mileage may vary, but the fun is in the testing and letting the rifle tell us what it likes rather than the other way around.

I use the RCBS mold in my Browning model 53 and it works great . No feeding issues and it's very accurate . I've only used Unique powder but good results were easy to get .

Took the words right out of my mouth. This and the 311-316 are the only molds I have used in my 32-20 Rifle. I have a Browning 53.

I use Accurate's 31-105C in my Marlin, but if you want heavier than that there is also Accurate's 31-120D, which is a tumble lube design. Unfortunately I found the 120gr a bit rough to cycle through my marlin so I don't use it anymore.
With the 105 gr I get excellent results with 12 grains of 2207 ( similar to 4198, or Rel7 ). It shoots quick, it shoots accurate, but it's easy on the gun. I use this load a lot for CLAS pistol caliber, and 100 meter rams go down easy, every time. If I was ordering this mold again I would probably request it with a very slight bevel base, just because I hi-tek coat and the bevel would easy the bullet into the neck better.

I've used the Lyman 120 grain flatnose gas check design for at least thirty years. It's accurate with or without the gas check and feeds through the magazine of my 1980s Marlin lever-action fine.

311008: cast from range scrap (+ a touch of tin), PC'd and sized .312 is the only boolit I shoot in either of my .32s. More accurate than I can hold with iron sights so I've never had reason to look for anything better.
