 Well you guys finally convinced me to lube and size my boolits with a machine, so I ordered one today, then thought dang I need size dies for this thing, so I ordered size dies for it, then when I thought some more, I realized, Hey I need top punches for it as well, after several hours of looking up the proper top punch on the lyman list, I finished my order, the total cost could have bought a real nice colt 1911 custom :Fire:  now I need a beer

Good luck! Look at it this way, if you have a horse you still have to buy all the other stuff if you want to ride.

Yep, I kinda sorta feel your pain. I just spent another $200.00 and some odd dollars today on another order for castn' stuff.

20 calibers? Gee. I only cast for four pistol calibers and one rifle. I have two Stars just to keep up.

Should have done like me. I bought one used on ebay. Not saying you should have bought one on ebay but when you buy it used you get all the sizers and top punches and stuff. I got lucky, mine looked like it was hardly used at all and I got 5 sizers and top punches with it for $100.

You can buy a pretty good hobby lathe for what a custom 1911 costs, then make your own sizing dies and nose punches.
