Howdy all!
I have an X-Products Can Cannon that sees quite a bit of use for little league boys with tennis balls. Issue has been cost and availability of the proper blank loads. So, I purchased a (very expensive!) Hornady blank die set. I've gotten the operation worked out, but load development has been a struggle. I have called all of the major powder suppliers, X -Products, Hornady, Lee, and Load Data - all of which have zilch for information.
I'm trying to make them as low residue as possible so as to keep the chamber from gumming up. I have been in the 7-10gr of blue dot with ok results, but it leaves a lot to be desired in the velocity department. Anyone have any knowledge of this subject?
Thank you all in advance.

I went with the German Plastic blanks for my can cannon. They are hotter than USGI and I bought them for less than $0.11/ea by the case a few years back.
