There is one of these on sale for 399 at a local shop. 10 +1 capacity basic GI model. Anyone have any experience with this gun and boolits? I am intrigued.

I have the 2011 model by RIA. Loves lead and shoots fine. Likes 147g over 115g.

My son-in-law owns one and we shoot it a lot with cast. Most accurate auto I shoot out of the box and 100% reliable so far. Buy it.

I've got a new RIA, but it's a .45, not a 9mm, so I can't comment on the RIA/9mm combination -- but the pistol itself is a good one.

I've handled, and inspected closely, one in 9mm that a friend recently purchased. I thought it was well built. Unfortunately , we can't shoot it until they lift the fire restrictrictions here. I am tempted to get one in 38 Super. Time will tell.

i use the lee 358-125-rf exclusively in it these days.

9mm in 1911 is a fantastic and accurate weapon. Mine is not a RIA but it is a fantastic defensive weapon. I can run high stress drills and put bullets on target accurately and consistently.

$399.00 + tax so $425 OTD. AND Rural King has 60 days same as cash lay away. Put $100 on it and will pay it of in a pay day or two.

I think thats a pretty good buy , do not have the RIA in 9mm have a few in 45acp , feed everything I throw in them and shoot good. Had a series 70 colt in 9mm once , that liked to throw the empties back at the shooter , I think you will like the rock island I like mine.
