OK you mathematoligists.
I mixed 23 oz. of 40/60 and 10.5 oz. of 50/50.
I calculate I ended up with 43/57.
Does that sound right?

Simple math:
.40 times 23 = 9.2
.60 times 23 = 13.8
10.5 /2 = 5.25
add 'em up
9.2 plus 5.25 = 14.45
13.8 plus 5.25 = 19.05
check math so far : 14.45 + 19.05 = 33.50, which equals 23 + 10.5
so, the first part is 14.45 divided by 33.50 or .43 (43%)
second part is 19.05 divided by 33.50 or .57 (57%)
The answer is....YES. You are correct.

Thank you halfslow.
I went a little longer route than that, but came up in the same place.
