Suggest a twist rate plz

I'm having a 24" 223 Bull Barrel for my NEF Handi-Rifle bored out and rechambered to 375 Win. I was going to have the smith do a 1 in 18, but while browsing the new 375 "Loadbook" I got from midway today, I see that all the rifles and test barrels used were 1 in 12. I plan on using a 200-250gr LBT WFN style boolit. The barrel is going to have 6 groove cut rifling.

18 twist would be ideal. 12 twist would be insanity. Did you say cut grooves? Then have the lands set at 0.005 in height. ... felix
