Prayer of Thanks

Last night, I had been planning on posting a prayer this morning that a young woman, whom we once fostered for a short while years ago, would be found. She's 15, and had run away. I need not go into the awful things that could happen to a young runaway, much less one that would need lead boolits in her pockets to get to 100 lbs... I went to sleep worried.

To borrow a quote: "That was fast..."

Instead, join me in a prayer of thanksgiving, as she was found early this morning and returned home unharmed.

Father God. We thank you that this young girl was found and that you keep her safe. We give you all the praise and glory for her safe return. In the name of your Son and our Savior, Jesus Christ we pray. Amen

Amen! The young today have SO many forces working against them, trying to gain their faith in something evil! That she was found may well mean that your prayers were answered in more ways than one?
