This is a video I did at the Wild Horse Rendezvous, Cyr Montana, Memorial Day weekend. This is sponsored by the Sapphire Mountain Men, and is a yearly event. This is the largest cannon event in the northwest, although the number of shooters was down this year.
The laughing was about one of the cannoneers trying to light his vent pick, instead of a fuse. He was also trying to shoot full cans of beer, which did not work worth a hoot!

We will remind him of this in the future!

I have a cannon I don't know much about. It is brass and is a repro. Never been shot, but has drawn blood. I have busted my toes on it for years.221632
