I apologize for not having contributed much lately. It's hard to describe how much your friendship and Christian love has meant to me over the past couple of years. Few things have happened lately. After almost two years at the halfway house, I finally quit, and went back to my old line of work as a mental health case manager. I have this whiplash going from flat-out all the time, to having too much unstructured time. My new job is fine, and I have some experience at it, but it is still an adjustment, and I am not completely comfortable with it yet.
Also, my stepdaughter has made what I believe to be some bad decisions lately, and is living in a situation that does not promote keeping her daughter there. Our granddaughter, Lilly, stays with her dad. My wife and I are trying our best to be a stable presence in our granddaughter's life, but we can only be there some of the time. Please keep Beth and Lilly in your prayers also. Thanks.
