I dunno, Boaz. I get your point, but at least some folks DO turn back, or away from Christ, when following Him "costs" them more than they're willing to "pay." But it could legitimately be said, I think, that those folks never really KNEW Him to start with. If they did, they'd be unable to turn away from Him. But your point is very well taken. Once we know Him, how could we ever again deny Him?
