Help Finding a Part: Win Mod 1906 Hammer/Pump .22 TD Screw

My BIL had a squirrel problem so I lent him my "beater" pump .22 He let it rattle around in his truck & now the knobbed take down screw is lost. Can anyone point me to where I can get one? TIA

The Assembly Screw/TD screw is Part#4 in the Numrich schematic.

What holds the TD screw in the frame and from falling free when unscrewed and the two halves of the gun are separated is Part#5,,,'Assembling Screw Stop Pin'.

With out #5 in place, you'll most likely just loose #4 again.

The pin (#5) is extremely small dia and very short in length. The length just barely longer than the dia of the assembly screw shaft itself.
The pin allows the Assembly Screw (TakeDown screw) to do it's job but yet it catches the screw from falling free of the frame when unscrewed from the opposite side of the frame. This by just being able to slightly span the hole in the bushing (Part#6) that the screw extends thru.

I've replaced some of them in Model 1890 and 1906 pumps as well as Model 62 with a pin made from a broken drill bit. (Always keep those broken drill bits!)
I don't recall the diameter of the pin. You can even make one from a suitible small brad or nail. It does nothing more than sit crosswise in the screw shaft and sit high enough up on each side to catch the bushing edge and keep the screw from falling free. There's no stress or motion put on it in tightening the TD.
The TD screw in the back of the frame on the Win 03 and 63 also use a small pin like this to capture the screw so it doesn't drop out of the gun and get lost.

**Homestead Gun Parts is another good place to deal with, I'll second that. I've used them many times.
