I'm about ready to buy one of the S & W .380 EZ Shields (if I can locate one) - just going to be a fun gun/plinker/can killer.
I don't know if or how many on here have one or reload for theirs - if you do - what is working best for you in terms of boolit diameter - and are you using conventional lube or PC? What powder / grain weight are you using with it?
My 9 mm Shield, I had to increase the grain weight of powder (I was using Bullseye) over what I was using in the Ruger SR9 that I had. (I had to jump it by .2 grains) Because my 9mm has a stiff recoil spring, etc. - I fully figured that I might have to.
The .380 EZ Shield is supposed to be easy to rack which I interpret as it has a weaker recoil spring. What is it taking to make your EZ cycle and giving you acceptable accuracy?
Any info would be helpful. Thanks.
Jim
