She collapsed at school yesterday and was flown to a big hospital in St Louis where they found out she has MS. She sounds good on the phone but I don't know any more... Dale

An update..she has pepper like lesions all over her brain.... They are giving her a really intense drug therapy and hoping she can stand it.... If she can stand the IV, then maybe she can stand the oral drugs... They did let her walk some today and she was excited....tomorrow she gets to go outside...

Another update...Praise God! Thou art Holy,Holy,Holy...

Just talked on the phone...she has responded wonderfully and is on the way home at 5 PM. This is 3 days early from original plans. She said her headaches were gone and she feels wonderful. She said she can never be cured BUT she hopes to keep it in remission.... This is a miracle...

Thank You MY Brethren... Violet said she would get on here tomorrow and post her Thanks....

I can't imagine being diagnosed at such a young age. I guess I was lucky, not being diagnosed until 57. I will certainly pray for her. And you.

Father, Please be with Violet as she deals with MS. Please guide the physicians that will treat her and please take any fears away so that Violet and her parents learn what they must do to help her live as normal a life as possible. Father, You are the great healer and I pray that You improve her life. AMEN.

Note: My old partner has dealt with this disease for many many years and she is still going strong. I pray for her and I will pray for Violet. Paul

Although scary, MS isn't the sentence it once was. My Mom had it seriously for over 40 years along with type 1 diabetes.
She made it to 93 before cancer took her. Back then the drugs she took were experimental, and have been drastically improved.
I pray for God to grant Violet and family peace, healing, and a normal life.

Her MS is under control as well as can be expected at present.... She fell down a hill and broke something in her ankle....she is wearing an air type cast right now.... I tell her she is such a klutz.....:kidding:

But seriously, part of the problem is she now has no balance....
