HK Pistols with polygonal rifling - cast bullets .....what size ?

I have a 40 cal hk P2000sk and am wondering if anyone has experience on what size to make the cast bullet for least amount of leading....I have a bit of experience with 44 mag revolver cast bullets and 444 Marlin T/C Contender cast bullets using Alox 238F and beeswax 50/50 - but this polygonal rifling is new to me.....any help appreciated ......

slug the bore .. Go .002 over with a powdercoated bullet keep a reasonable speed for the alloy and you should be good

I'd try what Smoke said. I tried for a USP45 and nothing anybody could think of could make that gun not lead with bare/lubed cast.

I have a Jericho in 9/41ae and a Tanfoglio in 40 S&W, all three poly barrels and I have never had a leading problem. And this was 15 years ago before I really knew that much about casting. Just lucky, I guess.

I have two H&K poly barreled pistols. A 40 and a 9mm. I had some problems with leading but found a slightly larger boolit was the key to success in both guns. I switched to powder coated because without a lubrsizer, it was too messy to do any quantity of boolits.
I am quite happy with the polygonal bbls and lead boolits.

I will echo the others... Glock 21, polygonal rifling, boolits powder coated and sized .452 = no leading

I've shot plenty of cast through a USP .40 without significant leading. None of these are pushing the envelope, however.

Don't load for the .40, but cast and load for a USP '45 and I treat it just like any other gun . COWW and size and lube as usual.
