Can this be used for casting Boolits.
Is it pure lead?

Magnum lead shot is usually 6% antimony and some aesnic.

Not 'pure' lead, for sure. Description says "high antimony" so, at a guess, I'd say it's somewhere around 3%-5%.

You can use that if you want. It's $45 for 25 lbs.

If it were me, I'd spend about half as much on COWW from a fellow boardmember and have in my opinion a superior alloy to cast with.

I have some lead shot alloy, but the shot was given to me and the shot shell guys I know said it was too big for trap loads. I think it was #4.

Magnum shot with a little tin added makes a decent alloy to cast with. But, like the others have said, you can buy other alloy cheaper that is just as good. Shot can be hard to melt, maybe because of the graphite coating on it.
