Was told to post over here to maybe get some more information on what I just found. I believe it to be a late 18th century gang bullet/lead shot mold. Its made of brass with one of its wood handles still attached. It has 41 cavities for projectiles in total, (23 for 18 caliber and 18 for 22 caliber). I've found a few similar ones online, but with maybe half the number of cavities for lead shot and with no engraving. Mine has a D * M on the one side. The other side has NEHEMIAH Abbott 1786 Dr and something else I can't quite make out.

Thanks in advance for any information on this thing, I'm still really new to all of this.
