I was the happy recipient of some spare reloading components at the best price around - free. Part of the load was a near full 1000 ct box of Rem factory swaged lead 158 gr RN with the graphite type lube. It's my first time reloading swaged lead, have loaded considerable amounts of cast. I know to keep velocity abit lower, but anything esle I should be aware of. I plan on loading them at ordinary or around 38 Spl velocities for a S&W model 14 - Thanks for any help Bill

I shoot a lot of the Remington and Speer 148 HBWC boolits with Red Dot. Great load and great boolit, with as much as they cost it hardly warrants casting for these. Anyway, the only bad thing I have to say about the Remingto boolits is they are messy. I recommend that you put a coat of JPW on them (tumble lube) and let them dry, this will help the messyness. But they'll be great in that 14.
Good Luck
