Well the bad news is that I wasn't wide awake this morning and took the wrong meds.
The good news is that I'm protected against fleas, ticks, 'skeeters, and heartworms for the next three months.
Hope your day is as good. GW

Well, yeah. I once knew a lady who confessed to not putting her glasses on and confused her hormone pills and the bottle of stool softener. GW

Goatwhiskers, thanks for a good laugh to start my day.

Actually, having something to keep ticks off you might be a good thing.

Do you find the urge to seek out all the fire hydrants in the neighborhood?

It pays to be careful in the morning routine, my grandmother once put nail glue into her eyes instead of eye drops. Glad your alright, hopefully worse thing that happens is you dream of chasing squirrels all night!

I had one life changing experience once.

Was working morning tire on a drilling rig . Slept late to go meet the crew , jumped out of bed put my clothes on and ran in the bathroom . Didn't turn the light on , peed , brushed my teeth and reached in the cabinet to get the Listerine to wash my mouth out . Do you remember how much a Listerine glass bottle resembled a bottle of Pine Sol ?

This thread continues to amuse me. I like that many are admitting - as we all have - done some less than smart things. Especially early in the morning. Maybe someday we'll have a thread of the things we did after a few too many beers. Now, that WILL be interesting.

Thurlow Craig, my favourite author on shooting, fishing, cowboying, animal behaviour and South American revolutions, recalls returning home hot and tired at night, and gulping what he thought was a glass of water, left out by his Paraguay cook. It brought tears to his eyes, and when she appeared, she told him it was what she took to avoid having babies (Paraguay in the earlies being a most satisfactorily informal place). When he made some feeble joke about his newly gained impregnable status, she said "Don Carlos, you are not supposed to drink it."
